Sigachi CEO gets bail from India court in fatal factory fire case (updated)

Adds share levels in paragraph 4

Feb 4 (Reuters) - Sigachi Industries SIGC.NS Chief Executive Amit Raj Sinha was granted bail by the Telangana High Court in connection with a case linked to a deadly factory fire last year, the company said on Wednesday.

Sinha was remanded in late-December as a part of an investigation into the fire at Sigachi's chemical unit that killed 40 people.

"We continue to extend our full cooperation to the investigating authorities and the judicial process to ensure that the matter is addressed in a fair and transparent manner," the company said.

Shares of the company jumped as much as 20% on the day. They were last trading 15% higher and were set for their best day since September.
