Sigachi CEO gets bail from India court in fatal factory fire case

Feb 4 (Reuters) - Sigachi Industries SIGC.NS said on Wednesday that Telangana High Court has granted bail to Chief Executive Amit Raj Sinha in connection to a case linked to last year's deadly factory fire.

Sinha was remanded in late-December as a part of a probe launched to investigate the factory fire at Sigachi's chemical unit in the southern part of India, which killed 40 people.

"We continue to extend our full cooperation to the investigating authorities and the judicial process to ensure that the matter is addressed in a fair and transparent manner," the company said on Wednesday.
