J.Jill falls after quarterly sales and profit decline

** Shares of women's apparel retailer J.Jill JILL.N down ~5% at $12.59 premarket
** Co posts decline in quarterly sales and profit due to tariff-related cost pressures and as budget conscious consumers cut back on discretionary spending 
** Reports a dip in Q1 net sales of ~6% to $144.4 million 
** Logs Q1 adjusted EBITDA of $16.7 million compared with $27.3 million from last year
** Reaffirms annual net sales outlook of flat to down 2% and adjusted EBITDA forecast $70 million to $75 million
** Expects Q2 net sales to fall 1% to 3%
** Co incurred about $4.7 million of incremental net tariff costs in Q1
** As of last close, stock down ~4% YTD
