** Shares in Italy's Unieuro UNIR.MI fall as much as 5.1%
after the group posted late on Thursday an almost 65% drop in
operating profit in the first nine months of the year
** The consumer electronics retailer's results were affected
by a decrease in sales in the Brown segment - comprising TV
sets, audio devices and car accessories, among the others - and
by inflationary pressure, the group said in a note
** The weak set of figures did not appeal to the market and
is affecting the stock's performance, a Milan-based trader says
** By 0841 GMT shares are down 3.1%, underperforming Italy's
all-share Index .FTITLMS , which rises 0.3%
