India's UCAL Fuel Systems jumps post Q2 results

** Shares of UCAL Fuel Systems Ltd UCAF.NS rise as much as
8.1% to 139.15 rupees, their biggest intraday pct gain since
Aug. 26
** Shares hit highest since Sept. 23
** The co on Monday reported a 25.8% fall in quarterly
profit of 74.3 million rupees ($905,214.42) as expenses rose,
mainly due to increase in material costs.
** Revenue from operations saw a rise of 10.8% to 2.45
billion rupees for the quarter ended Sept. 30
** The manufacturer of automotive components such as pumps
and emission control parts on Monday said that it has named
Abhaya Shankar as the chief executive officer of the company
** About 241,000 shares change hands by 0957 GMT vs 30-day
avg of 20,131 shares
** Stock down 10.4% so far this year, as of last close
($1 = 82.0800 Indian rupees)
