share move might be linked to an article from Les Echos
** Newspapers Les Echos and Le Figaro on Friday reported the
Mulliez family, which owns retail group Auchan, approached
Kretinsky to discuss a "commercial project" if his bid proves
successful
** French paper La Lettre A wrote on Monday that Alexandre
Bompard, the CEO of Carrefour CARR.PA , is also monitoring the
situation closely
** Radio channel Franceinfo on Monday reported Casino would
later the same day present to its employees a list of
supermarkets it would sell to Intermarche; as of 1325 GMT, there
was no news on this
** Casino, Carrefour and Intermarche declined to comment
when contacted by Reuters, Auchan was not immediately available
for comment
** Casino in recent months has been subject to multiple M&A
offers, including from French retailer Teract TRACT.PA , a trio
of French businessmen, and Kretinsky
** Casino tops France's SBF 120 index .SBF
** Shares of Rallye GENC.PA , a holding company owned by
the Casino group, surge 110%
