Appointment of Vice President

The board of directors (the "Board") of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co.,
Ltd. (the "Company" or "CPIC") announced that the Board passed a resolution on
26 May 2026, agreeing to appoint Mr. WANG Mingchao ("Mr. WANG") as the vice
president of the Company, for a term until the conclusion of the term of the
current session of the Board. The appointment qualification of Mr. WANG as the
vice president of the Company is subject to approval by the regulatory
authorities.

Biographical details of Mr. WANG are as follows:

Mr. WANG Mingchao, born in October 1976, currently serves as human resources
director of the Company. Previously, he held positions including head of the
Party Affairs Department/Organisation and HR Department of China Pacific Life
Insurance Co., Ltd. ("CPIC Life"), deputy general manager and senior deputy
general manager of CPIC Life Shanghai Branch, general manager of Partnerships
Department, general manager of Shanghai Business Department, sales director,
head of Partnerships of Life Insurance Individual Business Center, general
manager of Shanghai Branch and chairman of the Labor Union of CPIC Allianz
Health, director of the Board Office and deputy market director of the
Company, board secretary of China Pacific Property Insurance Co., Ltd. and
director of Pacific Health Insurance Co., Ltd.

Mr. WANG holds a master's degree and the designation of Senior Human Resources
Specialist.
