The Dow gained on Wednesday after new data indicated inflation pressures were
easing, ahead of the Federal Reserve's final monetary policy decision of the
year, where it is widely expected to leave interest rates unchanged.  .N

36,581.89. The S&P 500  .SPX  was unchanged at 4,643.9 and the Nasdaq Composite
