U.S. stocks the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq hit intraday record highs on Wednesday after cooler-than-expected inflation data kept the U.S. central bank on track to cut borrowing costs this year, while a surge in cloud computing firm Oracle added to gains. .N

At 11:46 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.43% at 45,514.80. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.48% at 6,543.78, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.41% at 21,969.34.
