Schroders: Down as profit drops, dividend unchanged

** Money manager's shares  SDR.L  down 2.4% at 3,505p,
poised to end three-day winning streak 
    ** SDR posts pre-tax profit after exceptional items of 610.5
mln pounds ($850.37 mln) vs 624.6 mln pounds a year ago      
    ** Co's final dividend to shareholders unchanged at 79p
    ** However, funds under management rose 15% to a record high

    ** Though net inflows of new money were down, strong
performance by private clients and solutions division helped
growth - SDR
    ** SDR up 5% YTD with the UK blue-chip index  .FTSE  up 2.5%
