** Australian shares of Solis Minerals  SLM.AX  surge 31.7%
to a record high of A$0.270
    ** The mineral explorer says copper sulphides have been
observed at its flagship Mostazal copper project in Chile 
    ** Stock posts its biggest-ever intraday percentage gain 
    ** Volumes are nearly 14 times the 30-day average of about
330,000 shares 
    ** ASX-listed stock flat this year, as of last close
