BERLIN/FRANKFURT, August 3 (Reuters) - The following are
some of the factors that may move German stocks on Wednesday:
    
    UKRAINE CRISIS
    The deal between Moscow and Kyiv to unblock Ukrainian grain
exports may offer a way forward to a possible ceasefire in the
five-month conflict, said former German chancellor Gerhard
Schroeder, a friend of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

    The first grain-carrying ship to leave Ukrainian ports in
wartime safely anchored off Turkey's coast on Tuesday and is due
to be inspected on Wednesday.
    
    NORD STREAM 1
    A Nord Stream 1 gas turbine that has become the focus of a
deepening energy row with Russia is in Germany after undergoing
maintenance in Canada, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will
visit it on Wednesday, Siemens Energy  ENR1N.DE  said.
