** Shares of Resources & Energy Group REZ.AX rise over 19% to A$0.025, their highest levels since April 10

** The gold miner says it has sold 100% of Mount Mackenzie Mines Pty Ltd, including the Mount Mackenzie gold project in Queensland for A$2.485 million ($1.57 million)

** Sale made to Qmines Limited QML.AX

** Stock marks its best intraday gain since April 1

** REZ stock down 8.7%, YTD
