    Prime Minister Mario Draghi urged Italians on Friday to get
fully vaccinated against coronavirus, acknowledging that there
was confusion after the government banned the AstraZeneca shot

    Draghi is meeting German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin
on Monday ahead of the European Union summit.
    
     Italy will call for tougher rules governing 'gig economy'
workers when it hosts labour ministers of the world's biggest
economies in the Group of 20 next week.
    Italy's labour minister, Andrea Orlando, said countries
should require big companies such as Amazon  AMZN.O  to take
responsibility for working conditions at their suppliers, as
part of reforms to ensure contractors are well-treated.

    FTSE share indexes revision effective as of Monday.
    
    BANKS
    Unlike state-owned Monte dei Paschi, other Italian lenders
Intesa Sanpaolo, UniCredit and Banco BPM are set to do well in
this year’s Europe-wide health check of the industry, Il
Messaggero reported on Saturday citing rumors in Frankfurt.

    Eight banks previously excluded from syndicated debt sales
backing the European Commission's up to 800-billion-euro
COVID-19 recovery fund will be allowed to take part in future
issues, the EU executive said on Friday.
    The EU did not name the banks reinstated but a Commision

    The insurer on Friday said it filed with Italy's market
watchdog the offer document for takeover bid Cattolica.

    Ifis's controlling investor La Scogliera will move its
office to the Swiss canton of Vaud, the lender said on Friday.
Banca Ifis will keep its presence in Italy unchanged, it added.

    Italy plans to raise up to 1.5 billion euros ($1.79 billion)
to build a 1 gigawatt-per-year electrolyser factory as part of
plans to become a European green hydrogen hub, internal

    Responding to investor questions ahead of the AGM on 23
June, Mediaset said on Friday that new potential acquisitions
are not ruled out for the future and, similarly, divestments in

    Ends capital increase.
    
    JUVENTUS  JUVE.MI 
    The football club may need 300-400 million euros and is set
to evaluate plans for a capital increase at the end of the
current player transfer season, Il Sole-24 Ore reported on
Saturday citing unnamed speculations. The process has not
started yet, it said. A spokesperson for Juventus declined to
comment on the report.

takeover on Retelit with Consob.
