European renewable stocks rise after US judge rejects Trump's ban on wind energy permits

** Shares in European renewable energy groups rise after a federal judge rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's ban on new wind energy projects

** The president's order had effectively halted federal approvals of wind farms on land and sea, freezing dozens of clean energy projects in the region

** "Positive for wind names as RWE and indirectly for Siemens Energy, Nordex," a local trader says

** Germany's Nordex NDXG.DE and SMA Solar S92G.DE rise between 2.3% and 2.5% while Siemens Energy ENR1n.DE edges up around 1%

** Denmark's Vestas VWS.CO and Oersted ORSTED.CO gain 2.8% and 3.3%, respectively

** Portugal's EDP Renovaveis EDPR.LS is up 1.5%

**  RWE's RWEG.DE shares remain flat in early trading
