European miners get boost from rising metal prices

** European miners  .SXPP  are one of the best performers on
STOXX 600 index  .STOXX , as the index rises on the back of
surging metal prices 
    ** The STOXX basic resources index  .SXPP  is up over 2%,
with Boliden  BOL.ST , KGHM Polska Miedz  KGH.WA , Anglo
American  AAL.L , Norsk Hydro  NHY.OL  the biggest risers
3.31%-4.52%
    ** Zinc prices hit their highest in 14 years on Thursday
after producer Nyrstar  NYR.BR  announced a plan to cut its

    ** The pan-European STOXX 600 index  .STOXX  is up 0.9%
