U.S. stock indexes opened higher on Thursday on a boost from tech-focused
megacap firms a day after hawkish comments from the Federal Reserve weighed on
markets. .N
At 10:53 a.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.16% at
34,565.2. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.97% at 4,392.32 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 0.42% at 13,599.308.
