The S&P 500 and Nasdaq rose to fresh one-year highs on Tuesday after data showed
consumer prices rose modestly in May, boosting hopes that the Federal Reserve
could skip raising interest rates at the end of its policy meeting on
Wednesday. .N

34,269.13. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.77% at 4,372.43 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.82% at 13,572.051.
