Italy reported 60,191 COVID-19 related cases on Tuesday,
against 22,083 the day before, the health ministry said, while

ISTAT releases January industrial output data (0900 GMT) and
monthly bulletin on the state of the economy in February (1000
GMT).
OECD releases February composite leading indicator data
(1100 GMT).
Bank of Italy releases January data on Italian residents'
deposits with domestic banks, banks lending to non-financial
companies and gross bad loans at Italian banks.
DEBT
Italy's treasury said on Tuesday it would offer up to 7.75
billion euros in BTP bonds at an auction on March 11.

TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
Rating agency Moody's on Tuesday cut the telecoms group
rating by one notch to BA3, with a negative outlook, saying the

Italian bank UniCredit confirmed it would pay proposed cash
dividends on 2021 results even in an extreme scenario where it
wrote off in full its Russian exposure, losing two percentage
points of core capital, but warned share buyback plans hinged on
its key capital ratio remaining above 13%.

The new boss of Salvatore Ferragamo aims to boost sales by
revitalising its product offer, though the Italian luxury group
said the war in Ukraine and the lingering pandemic in some areas

The Italian defence group's plan to find a buyer for its OTO
Melara and Wass units has been put on hold amid the crisis
caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, three sources close to

The group on Tuesday signed an agreement with unions
allowing employees to work from home for a maximum of eight days
per month. For certain sectors or types of activity the
threshold could increase to up to 10 days, Italy's metal workers

Italy plans to subsidise up to 6,000 euros ($6,570) of the
purchase price of new electric vehicles as part of its plan to
support the country's automotive industry, a government source

a project to build a liquefied natural gas terminal in southern
