Wall Street was subdued on Tuesday as investors watched for
signs of escalation in U.S. trade restrictions and awaited
minutes of the central bank's January meeting to gauge its
policy stance following last week's mixed economic data. .N

down 0.17% at 44,473.75. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.02% at
6,113.66 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.30% at
19,967.43.
