Power solutions group Leoch at near 2-year peak on spinoff, US listing plan

** Shares of power solutions group Leoch International
Technology Ltd  0842.HK  jump 26.4% to HK$2.06, their highest
since March 2023, and on course for third consecutive session of
gains 
    ** Stock on track for the biggest one-day pct rise since
July 2021, if gains hold; top gainer on the Hong Kong bourse
    ** Leoch said Hong Kong Stock Exchange has approved its plan
to spin off and seek a separate listing of its power batteries
distribution business, Leoch Energy Inc, on a U.S. Exchange 
    ** Hang Seng Commerce & Industry Index  .HSNC  rises 1% and
Hang Seng Index  .HSI  adds 0.9%
    ** Stock rose 26% last year
