U.S. stock indexes were set for a mixed open on Thursday as shares of Microsoft
fell after the company lowered its profit forecast, offsetting relief from a
pullback in oil prices that eased worries about rising inflation. .N
At 12:06 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.26% at
32,896.98. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.81% at 4,134.64 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 1.35% at 12,156.613.
