Technology stocks led U.S. indexes higher on Wednesday, as investors
strengthened bets for an earlier-than-expected start to the Federal Reserve's
policy easing cycle after multiple reports signaled slowing growth in the
world's largest economy. .N

38,750.72. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.87% at 5,337.52 and the Nasdaq Composite
.IXIC was up 1.61% at 17,128.953.
