Wall Street's main stock indexes fell on Friday as some big banks dipped after
reporting dour quarterly results and most megacap growth stocks and chipmakers
receded.  .N 
    
    At 13:33 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 1.48% at
37,889.13. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.70% at 5,110.68 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 1.85% at 16,138.478.
