ITC, HDFC Bank among top buys by Indian fund houses in March - Nuvama

** ITC  ITC.NS , HDFC Bank  HDBK.NS , Tata Consultancy
Services  TCS.NS  and Reliance Industries  RELI.NS  were among
top large-cap purchases by top Indian mutual funds in March,
Nuvama Alternative & Quantitative Research says
    ** Funds bought 179 bln rupees worth of ITC shares, ~32 bln
rupees worth HDBK, ~15 bln rupees worth TCS and 10 bln rupees
worth RELI - Nuvama
    ** Indian fund houses bought 82.8 bln rupees worth HDBK in
February 
    ** ITC shares up 5.4% in March, HDBK gained 3.2%, RELI rose
1.7%
    ** Max Healthcare  MAXE.NS , Aurobindo Pharma  ARBN.NS  and
Indus Towers  INUS.NS  were among top mid-cap buys; NLC India
 NLCI.NS  and Aster DM Health  ATRD.NS  were top small-cap
purchases - Nuvama
    ** Among large-caps, fund houses sold 22.5 bln rupees worth
of State Bank of India  SBI.NS  shares, ~12 bln rupees worth
Bharti Airtel  BRTI.NS  and ~10 bln rupees worth ICICI Bank
 ICBK.NS  - Nuvama
