** Shares of HPL Electric & Power  HPLE.NS  rise 7.8% to
356.90 rupees
    ** Electric equipment maker launches HPL fans catering to
both domestic and international markets
    ** HPLE on track for second straight session of gains; had
risen 27% in March-qtr for fourth consecutive quarterly gains
    ** More than 779,000 shares change hands, almost three times
the 30-day avg 
    ** Stock up ~43% YTD, had more than doubled in 2023 for best
yearly gains since listing in 2016
