Wall Street's main stock indexes tumbled on Wednesday as investors turned risk
averse after a stronger-than-anticipated inflation reading doused hopes of the
Federal Reserve kicking off its monetary easing cycle in June. .N 
    
    At 11:34 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 1.18% at
38,425.96. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.01% at 5,157.07 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 1.02% at 16,140.603.
