Wall Street's main stock indexes tumbled on Wednesday as investors turned risk
averse after a stronger-than-anticipated inflation reading doused hopes of the
Federal Reserve kicking off its monetary easing cycle in June. .N 
    
    At 13:36 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 1.38% at
38,346.18. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.24% at 5,145.38 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 1.19% at 16,112.559.
