** Shares of GNA Axles Ltd  GNAA.NS  rise as much as 5.7% to
709 rupees after a jump in Sept. qtr profit
    ** The automotive transmission component maker's shares gain
most since Sept. 5, hit their highest level since Sept. 21
    ** GNAA on Friday reported a 36.2% rise in profit at 333.8
million rupees ($4.04 million)
    ** Quarterly revenue from ops rose to 4.20 billion rupees,
from 3.40 billion rupees last year
    ** More than 264,000 shares change hands by 0925 GMT, 4.4x
30-day avg of 60,908 shares
    ** Stock down 7.7% so far this year up to last close
($1 = 82.7250 Indian rupees)
