U.S. stock index futures were largely subdued on Friday, with investors closely
monitoring the major retailers as Black Friday sales began against the backdrop
of stubbornly high inflation and worries about a potential recession next year.

    At 7:02 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were up 0.17% at 34,269. S&P 500
e-minis  ESc1  were up 0.09% at 4,036.75, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis  NQc1  were
down 0.17% at 11,843.
