DEBT
Italy's Treasury said on Thursday it would sell up to 4.25
billion euros ($4.66 billion) in short-term BTP and
inflation-linked BTP bonds on June 27.
Treasury announces sale of 6-month BOT bills, with relative
amounts to be auctioned on June 28.

The Italian energy group and its Norwegian unit Vaar
VAR.OL have agreed to buy private-equity backed Neptune Energy
in a deal valuing the assets of the gas and oil producer $4.9
billion including debt, the two groups said on Friday.

The opening of Silvio Berlusconi's will, which was expected
to take place on June 26, might be postponed to later than next

Italy's biggest utility is considering replacing the CEO of
its Spanish subsidiary Endesa, Jose Bogas, and reshuffling its
board, MF newspaper wrote on Friday, attributing this plan to
Enel CEO Flavio Cattaneo.
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
The Italian phone group said on Thursday it had granted an
exclusivity period to U.S. fund KKR KKR.N over the sale of its
landline grid.
TIM's board unanimously mandated CEO Pietro Labriola to
start talks with KKR aimed at obtaining a binding offer no later
than Sept. 30, the group said in a statement.
(*) Top investor Vivendi VIV.PA may lower its minimum
price for the sale of the grid from 31 billion euros to a
"floor" of 26 billion euros, according to daily Il Messaggero.
PIRELLI PIRC.MI
Chinese state-owned Sinochem Group 600500.SS is expected
to keep its stake in Pirelli despite a move by the Italian
government to limit its influence at the tyremaker, three
sources close to the matter told Reuters.

CEO and Chairman Urbano Cairo has denied rumours about its
interest to buy out Mediaset and Mondadori, Italian media
reported on Friday.
EUROVITA, not listed
Prosecutors in Milan have opened an investigation into
Eurovita, a small life insurer which has been placed under
special administration by Italian authorities after running into
trouble, two people with direct knowledge of the matter told
Reuters.

Italian yacht-maker Ferretti is expected to price its offer
for a dual listing in Milan at around 3 euros per share, two
sources said.
