Bank of Italy releases January data on public finances, state borrowing and debt.

 The Italian lender said on Monday it was launching an offer to own more than 30% of Commerzbank CBKG.DE, crossing the mandatory takeover threshold existing under German law.

PIRELLI PIRC.MI

Italian government officials will meet on Monday with representatives from Pirelli and its two main investors as part of efforts to address a spat over Chinese influence on the tyremaker, two sources said.

BANCA SISTEMA BSTA.MI

CEO and General Manager Gianluca Garbi resigned, with immediate effect, following the successful takeover by Banca   CF+, while all other board members will resign on the date of the shareholders' meeting set for April 23, the lender said on Friday. Banca CF+ separately said it now owns 80.75% of Banca Sistema's share capital.

Kkcg Maritime starts partial takeover bid on Ferretti shares; ends on April 13.
