    * Says the co will raise its stake in a Tokyo-based group 
management firm to 51 percent from 13.3 percent in private 
placement 
    * Says the group management firm is wholly owning a 
Tokyo-based agricultural product firm and it will also become 
the unit of the co after the stake acquisition 
    * Says effective date on March 31
