Swiss stocks - Factors to watch on March 20

ZURICH/BERLIN, March 20 (Reuters) - Here are some of the
main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Wednesday:
    
    TRAFIGURA
    Lawyers for businessman Prateek Gupta, accused of fraud by
Geneva-based commodity trader Trafigura, told a London court on
Tuesday he has run out of funds to pay legal fees and wants to
negotiate a settlement.
    
    EDMOND DE ROTHSCHILD
    Ariane de Rothschild dismissed on Tuesday talk of merging
Edmond de Rothschild, the Geneva-based private bank she runs,
with Paris-based investment bank Rothschild & Co as "fantasy",
adding that such a move would create little value.
    
    COMPANY STATEMENTS
    *Holcim  HOLN.S  Mexico said it has acquired two concrete
plants from Grupo Comosa in Mexico's Queretaro state.  HOLN.S 
    *Julius Baer  BAER.S  said it had successfully placed 460
million Swiss francs in domestic senior unsecured bonds.

separate its paper business from chemistry and packaging
