Wall Street's main indexes climbed more than 2% on Friday as signs of slowing
economic growth and a recent weakening of commodity prices tempered expectations
over how high the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates to rein in
inflation.  .N 
    
    At 13:52 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was up 2.20% at
31,351.58. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 2.38% at 3,885.9 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 2.38% at 11,499.537.
