The tech-heavy Nasdaq edged higher in choppy trading on Tuesday supported by
megacap growth stocks on cautious hopes that the Federal Reserve will not be as
aggressive in raising rates following weak U.S. business activity data. .N 
    
    At 13:38 p.m. ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.33% at
32,955.73. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.11% at 4,133.55, while the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was up 0.15% at 12,400.067.
