U.S. stocks recovered from opening losses to trade higher on Wednesday, helped by Nvidia, Apple and Tesla, while investors looked ahead to the non-farm payrolls report for clues on how soon the Federal Reserve would lower borrowing costs. .N

At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.08% at 44,460.18. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.31% at 6,217.34, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.78% at 20,359.70.
