** Shares of railway-related firms in South Korea rise after
a news agency reported, quoting the unification ministry, that
South and North Korea plan to conduct joint inspections of
railways this week as part of efforts to modernize and connect

** The field inspection will be carried out on the railways
running along the eastern coast of the Korean Peninsula on
Friday, which will be followed by similar work on the railways
in the western region on Tuesday, according to the ministry
** South Korean Remicon producer Busan Industrial Co Ltd
011390.KS surges as much as 14.1 pct, while Daea TI Co Ltd
045390.KQ and Daeho AL Co Ltd 069460.KS jump 2.2 pct and 3.2
pct, respectively
