London-listed Critical Mineral Resources surges on permits purchase

** Shares of Critical Mineral Resources CMRS.L surge as
much as 45.5% to 4p, stock top pct gainer across London
** Exploration and development company focused on clean
energy metals in Morocco buys 26 exploration permits,
prospective for copper, antimony, tungsten, lead-zinc and gold
** CMRS says permits bought through acquisition of domestic
firm Hesperis Resources SARL, expanding its exposure to a wider
range of critical metals and minerals
** Says permits are in regions that have historical and
current mining sites with established road and power
infrastructure
** Stock hits highest level since Nov. 30, 2023
** Currently stock up 36.4%; shares had lost ~39% in 2023
