    * Compass Gold announces definitive agreement to acquire 
Sikasso Gold property in Mali 
    * Will complete a 5:1 consolidation of its shares 
    * Transaction and concurrent $6 million financing expected 
to be completed by end of October 2017 
    * Proceeds of financing will be used for recommended work 
program on sikasso property 
    * Proposed that Larry Phillips will be appointed as 
president and chief executive officer of compass
