Order book falls for Belgian dredger DEME

BRUSSELS, Aug 28 (Reuters) - Belgian dredger DEME's order 
book fell at the end of the second quarter as the group added no 
new big orders, though its operating income grew by some 45 
percent in the first half of the year. 
    DEME, owned by construction group CFE  CFEB.BR , said its 
order book at the end of the second quarter stood at 3.36 
billion euros ($3.78 billion), down from the 3.53 billion at the 
end of the first. 
    DEME's core profit in the first half of 2015 rose by 44.4 
percent in the first half to 276.3 million euros, as the group 
completed work at the Suez Canal and the New Doha Port. 
    DEME represented some 70 percent of CFE's revenue in the 
first six months of 2015. Belgian holding company Ackermans & 
Van Haaren  ACKB.BR  owns 60.4 percent of CFE and France's Vinci 
 SGEF.PA  12.1 percent.
