** Shares of software developer Chanjet Information
Technology Co Ltd  1588.HK  surge as much as 27.4% to HK$16.76,
their highest since January 2016
    ** Stock marks best session since July 13, 2020; the
sixth-biggest percentage gainer among all listed companies on
the Hong Kong bourse 
    ** Co says the board has passed a resolution in relation to
a proposed A share offering in China, offering up to 38.33 mln A

    ** Says the A share offering will help the company in
diversifying its financing channels in capital market,
facilitating transformation and development towards cloud
service business 
    ** The Hong Kong Hang Seng sub-index, tracking information

Index  .HSTECH  rises 2.4%
    ** The Hang Seng China enterprises index  .HSCE  climbs
0.9%, and the benchmark index  .HSI  gains 0.6%
