Cassius Mining hits 1-1/2-year high on starting lithium exploration

** Shares of Australia's Cassius Mining  CMD.AX  rise as
much as 13.2% to A$0.04, their highest since Nov. 18, 2020
    ** Stock jumps as the miner announces its initial
exploration programme at the wholly owned Chenene Lithium

    ** Says it is initially targeting two priority areas across
amphibolite gneiss outcrops which are known to be host rocks of
Lithium bearing pegmatites within the local area
    ** Adds both the two priority target areas are under initial

volume of 627,648 shares
    ** Stock has risen 171.4% this year, as of last close
