BUENOS AIRES, July 18 (Reuters) - Global seed and
pesticide producer Corteva CTVA.N and Argentina's Bioceres
will partner to accelerate regulatory approvals in a push to
roll out a bioinsecticide to European buyers, Bioceres said in a
statement on Tuesday.
The Argentine biotech firm BIOX.O added that, once given
the green light by regulators, Corteva will be the
bioinsecticide's exclusive distributor in Europe.
Developed by Bioceres unit Pro Farm, the bioinsecticide,
which they did not name, is targeted at corn and other grains
including oilseeds sunflower and canola.
Bioinsecticides typically incorporate microorganisms and
other natural compounds to keep insect pests at bay.
