Wall Street's main indexes slid on Tuesday, led by declines in Meta Platforms
and other technology stocks as investors worried about a longer rate-hike cycle
despite warnings of a potential recession next year.  .N 
    At 1336 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 1.27% at
33,514.86. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 1.66% at 3,932.52 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 2.06% at 11,007.928.
