The S&P 500 was trading largely flat on Monday as gains in Tesla were offset by
declines in bank and energy shares, ahead of the first face-to-face peace talks
between Ukraine and Russia in more than two weeks.  .N 
    
    At 11:36 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.6% at 
34,641.85. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.01% at 4,543.61 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was up 0.48% at 14,237.604.
