    Italy reported 33 coronavirus-related deaths on Sunday
against 25 the day before, the health ministry said, while the
daily tally of new infections fell to 2,968 from

    Italy's health ministry has given its green light for people
to receive a COVID-19 vaccine and a flu shot at the same time,

    Italy, last of two days of local elections.
    
    ECONOMY
    Recent pressures on producer prices should prove to be
temporary and not result in a persistent rise in inflation,
European Central Bank Governing Council member Ignazio Visco
said on Saturday. Salary increases should remain subdued given
the large number of people left out of work due to the pandemic,
he said, adding the ECB should act cautiously in countering
shocks that appear to be only temporary in nature.
    Italy's Ecological Transition Minister Roberto Cingolani
expects gas prices to start falling from next year, probably
after the first quarter, he reiterated at the conclusion of the
pre-COP26 climate talks on Saturday.

    As of Sept. 30 entrepreneur Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone
increased his stake in the insurer to 6.39% and billionaire
Leonardo Del Vecchio to 5.26%. As a result, the consultation
pact between the two businessman and banking foundation
Fondazione CRT, which holds a 1.23% stake in Generali, hold a
total shareholding of 12.88% of the insurer.

    Italy car sales fell 32.73% year-on-year in September with

    The broadcaster said on Friday the board of directors backed
a proposal to introduce a new dual class share structure.
Mediaset board also approved the proposal to change the

    The Italian aerospace firm expects the U.S. Federal Aviation
Administration will certify the AW609 aircraft in 2022, nearly
two decades after the first test flight, its CEO Alessandro

    Leonardo's CEO said Boeing was expected this month to
release an updated production plan for its 787 Dreamliner

    Italian renewable energy group said on Friday it has reached
an agreement with Engie for a five-year long term power purchase
agreement for the off taking of renewable energy produced at
five ERG wind power plants located in France. The group has also

in France and Germany, in a deal giving the assets an enterprise

    Italian IT group AlmavivA and cloud provider Aruba said on
Saturday they had presented a joint proposal to the government
to help create a cloud-based infrastructure for the country's
public administration data, rivalling that put forward by a
