    ** Miner says drilling results from its El Pilar oxide
deposit in central Cuba shows high-grade gold assays
    ** Shares to mark best day since Nov 21, if gains hold
    ** More than 2.42 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average of 1.37 mln shares 
    ** Shares of co down 53.9% YTD, as of last close
