U.S. stock indexes pared losses on Friday as investors assessed the fallout from
SVB Financial's crisis, while signs of cooling in the labor market calmed fears
about aggressive rate hikes by the Federal Reserve.  .N 
    
At 11:56 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.15% at
32,205.99. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.35% at 3,904.71 and the Nasdaq
Composite  .IXIC  was down 0.47% at 11,285.315.
